Students enter college or university with feelings of nervousness, excitement and anticipation. With newfound freedom, they find themselves suddenly exposed to a variety of opinions and people from all walks of life. Most students have never been given the opportunity to hear about Jesus’ love and the life-changing message of the gospel, and so they look for meaning in all the wrong places. Power to Change – Students helps students discover that Jesus is the answer to the deep longing in their hearts and equips them for a lifetime of ministry. Praises

- Sabbatical from July 16 to Aug 13. I’m looking forward to being refreshed by the Spirit, and will start the time off alone with God on Bowen Island at Rivendell Retreat Centre.
- After my retreat to Rivendell, I will be spending a few days on Salt Spring Island with my husband.
- Praise the Lord for His work on students, seeing life changes through discipleship program.

Prayers

- Sabbatical - that it would a time of refreshment with the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
- Healing - please continue to pray for husband’s health and healing for my physical need.
- Students – Pray for graduates to follow God’s leading in their next steps, and for them to be instruments of God’s peace to the nations. Pray for new students; may they would find a community that would point them to Jesus, and their Creator.
