Are you interested in walking with people towards mental wellness? These introductory workshops are intended for ministry leaders, fellowship counsellors and peers who are seeking to learn how to begin journeying with people who are have mental health challenges.

About our speaker:
Lily Szeto received a master's degree in psychological counselling at Acadia University in 2000, and has worked as a professional Certified Clinical Therapist in Halifax and Toronto to date. She is a man-in-service, and she is convinced that God loves those who suffer from mental pain, so she provides Christ-centered counselling. She has also served as a teacher of special education and a lecturer at the Toronto Baptist Seminary . Lily joined the Hong Kong Fanling Baptist Church since baptized in 1971. She studied at the University of Canada in 1975. In 1979, she was called to be missionary with her husband (Rev. Lai Szeto, currently General Director of CCIC) to Trinidad for five years. 1984-2007 served with her husband at Chinese Christian Church in Halifax. In 2008, Lily C-MO led a peer counselling/caring training program, and established a non-profit organization (Hope for the Heart, also named as Hope Station Christian Centre) as the Chinese ministry director. The organization has published a number of counselling books, including in English & Chinese version( She has conducted numerous peer counselling/care training in Canada, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe and China. Training people around the world to care for the physically, mentally and spiritually injured in order to refresh, heal the mind and bring hope to the wounded. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
