July 2022
Loran Tang, recruiter and training coordinator of Children Ministry

As I mentioned in my last blog, Children Ministry is excited to welcome new families coming to Canada and BAC.  We understand it is not easy to navigate our programs and get connected with our kids and helpers quickly among their busy schedules to settle down their new lives here. Therefore, we offer an Orientation Meeting on Aug 14 to meet with these families and would introduce them our different programs on Saturday and Sunday.

Besides introduction of our programs, Joan and I also love to spend some time to connect with these families. As an immigrant myself, I know the pain and the loneliness after leaving a place you once called home to enter a foreign land. It’s time for BAC to act our kindness and take them as our family members.

Orientation Meeting will be held at 2p.m. on Aug 14 in the old basement.  If you are quite new to BAC and want to understand our children programs more, please come and join us. Children Ministry is a place for kids and parents to walk through their spiritual lives together.  At this Orientation Meeting, you will learn about different opportunities to participate together with your kids. Let’s enjoy a fun conversation and snacks in a causal and relaxing meeting!!

I promise, it’s only a starter! We will have more events to welcome new families and get to know each other in future. Can’t wait to greet you all!

Anytime, anywhere, you can connect with us:

Joan Fong, Director of Children Ministry.
Loran Tang, Recruiter and Training Coordinator of Children Ministry.
Sandra Chu, Administrator of Children Ministry
