Our unshakable foundation

Learning is a lifelong journey. Studying God’s Word and passing it on is the most precious lifelong gift we can give to future generations.

Through God’s Word, we discern truth, endure trials and temptations, experience transformation, and bless those around us. God’s Word is our unshakable foundation. Therefore, teaching His Word remains our primary focus and responsibility.

To equip our brothers and sisters to teach our children God’s Word effectively, we regularly organize interactive workshops.

In April, Campion Fong, Mark Ip, Viame Yau, Kim Lee, and Doris K. Wong attended a training workshop focused on teaching methods. Following the workshop, we held one session of class demonstrations by the participants and one session of constructive critique.

All participants have some experience in the Children's Ministry. Campion previously coordinated Awana at her home church in Hong Kong. Mark Ip currently teaches in Junior Worship. Viame and Doris serve as small group leaders in Elementary Sunday School, and Kim Lee assists in Junior Worship. I am grateful that each of them stepped out of their comfort zones to teach during this workshop!

“I love the workshop very much. This workshop gathers people who are interested in spreading gospel to children through worship teaching. My favorite part of the workshop is the session when we had our online sharing and comments after the trial teaching. We provided constructive critique and advice to our classmates.
